Building a plate from modules

Socket modules let you build a wall plate around exactly what a spot needs, rather than accepting a fixed layout. Each module is a small insert that drops into a grid faceplate, so one plate can carry a data point next to a charger next to a switch. It is the build-your-own approach: choose the modules, fit them to a frame, then finish with a faceplate.

How the grid system works

The system has three parts. A grid frame holds modules in fixed positions, the modules clip into that frame, and a faceplate covers the front. The modules here are sized to drop into a standard grid faceplate, which is what lets you mix functions on a single plate and change the mix later by swapping a module.

The module types available

The range covers CAT6a RJ45 network points for wired data, dual USB charger modules for device charging, and touchless switch modules sized at 50 x 50mm. VGA and Ethernet wall plate inserts are also included for connecting screens and networks. That spread means data, charging and switching can share one tidy plate instead of spreading across several.

Finishes to match a plate

Modules come in black, grey and white through to brushed brass, antique brass and other tones. Matching the module finish to your grid faceplate keeps the plate looking deliberate, so a USB charger sits cleanly beside a network point without a clash of colours across the front.
