Description
The Knightsbridge triplexed outlet module combines TV, FM/DAB and satellite connections in a single 50 x 50mm black ABS faceplate. The module uses separate connection types for each signal path: a male coaxial connector for TV, an F-type connector for satellite, and a female coaxial connector for FM/DAB radio. All three signal paths are fully screened to EN 50083-2, providing low signal loss, minimal interference ingress and negligible cross-talk between channels.
Designed for residential AV installations and multi-room distribution systems, the module fits Knightsbridge's modular grid system and requires a 35mm minimum mounting box depth. The black finish suits contemporary interiors and grid plate configurations where multiple modules are combined in a single faceplate. Cable connections use clamp-and-screw terminals that accept 1mm conductor cables including PF100, H109F and QF100 coaxial types.
The module's fully screened construction isolates each signal path from external interference and from the other channels within the same outlet, maintaining signal integrity in installations where TV, satellite and radio feeds run in close proximity. The 31mm recessed depth behind the faceplate allows the module to fit standard UK back boxes without projection issues, and the terminal access is positioned for cable routing from above or below depending on back box entry points.

Frequently Asked
What cable types does this module accept?
The clamp-and-screw terminals accept coaxial cables with a 1mm conductor diameter, including PF100, H109F, QF100 and similar domestic-grade coaxial cables used in UK aerial and satellite installations.
Can it be used in a standalone faceplate?
Yes. The 50 x 50mm module fits Knightsbridge's grid system and can be used in a single-module grid plate or combined with other 50mm modules in multi-gang grid configurations.
What does 'fully screened to EN 50083-2' mean?
EN 50083-2 is the European standard for signal screening in cable distribution systems. Full screening to this standard means the module provides high isolation between signal paths and minimal ingress from external interference sources, maintaining signal quality in domestic AV installations.
What mounting depth is required?
A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed. The module has a 31mm recessed depth behind the faceplate, so the 35mm box provides sufficient clearance for cable terminations and routing behind the module.
