Hard-wearing lighting for working spaces

This range covers robust lighting for warehouses, factories and workshops, where fittings need to take knocks, damp and dust and keep going. It is built around bulkheads and LED battens, with reflectors and emergency kits filling out the range. The housings are made to be functional first, in hard-wearing white and grey, with the odd chrome or brass trim ring for the bulkheads.

Bulkheads, battens and high bays

Bulkheads come in weatherproof and impact-resistant builds for walls and ceilings in tougher rooms. LED battens run from 4ft up to 6ft lengths for lighting longer spans of ceiling, with non-corrosive versions for areas that get hosed or run damp. Reflectors focus the light down from height, which suits tall industrial ceilings where the fitting sits well above the floor.

Adjustable output and emergency back-up

Many fittings are CCT-adjustable, switching the white light between warmer and cooler tones, and wattage-selectable so you can set the brightness to the room. Cool white and daylight tones suit task areas where clear, even light matters. Emergency-rated models and conversion kits keep a fitting lit if the mains drops, which matters on escape routes and in larger spaces.

Where industrial lighting fits

Much of the range is built for commercial and industrial rooms, with weatherproof options that also suit outdoor and covered areas, and tougher fittings for hallways and utility spaces. Mount battens in continuous rows for even coverage across a workshop or store, space the reflectors to match the ceiling height, and place bulkheads where a compact, durable fitting suits a wall or a low ceiling. Frequently Asked Questions

What types of fitting does this range cover?
Mainly LED bulkheads, LED battens and high bay accessories. Bulkheads come in IP65 with IK10 impact resistance, including emergency, PIR and microwave versions, and a few photocell-sensor ones. Battens run from 2ft to 6ft, with standard IP20 and sealed IP65 tri-proof options, plus reflectors, lenses and emergency kits for high bay fixtures.

What does CCT-adjustable and wattage-selectable mean?
Many fittings let you pick the colour temperature on the unit, switching between warm white, cool white and daylight, and some also let you set the wattage. That means one fitting can suit different areas without holding multiple stock lines. The available settings are listed per product.

Which fittings suit wet or wash-down areas?
The IP65 non-corrosive and tri-proof battens handle damp, dusty stores and outdoor-rated spots, and there are IP69K washdown battens for areas cleaned with high-pressure jets. Bulkheads at IP65 also suit exposed walls. Match the IP rating to how wet and dusty the space gets.

Are emergency-rated options available?
Yes. Several bulkheads and battens include built-in emergency backup, and there are separate emergency kits and gear trays. Emergency versions keep a light running for a set period during a power cut. Check each product for its emergency function and rated duration.

Do these fittings need professional installation?
These are mains-wired fittings for fixed installation, so it is best to use a qualified electrician, especially for emergency and sensor-linked units. Some battens and bulkheads use fast-fix or modular gear trays to speed up the physical mounting once the supply is in place.
