The Nkuku range, room by room

We stock Nkuku as a homeware and furniture label rather than a single product type, so the range covers a whole house rather than one corner of it. A consistent set of natural materials runs through it, which is what lets pieces from different parts of the range sit together in the same room. Here is how it tends to fall.

Kitchen and dining

The largest part of the range sits here. We stock tableware and serveware in ceramic and stoneware, glassware and tumblers in recycled and clear glass, and boards, bowls and utensils in mango and reclaimed wood. Placemats and coasters in jute and hemp finish a table setting, and kitchen storage in glass and iron keeps dry goods on show.

Living rooms

For living spaces we stock occasional and coffee tables in mango wood and iron, seating and armchairs, storage baskets in jute and rattan, and decorative pieces including vases, planters, candle holders and lanterns. Cushions and throws in cotton, wool and linen add the softer layer.

Lighting

We stock Nkuku pendants, table lamps, floor lamps, wall lights and shades. Recycled glass pendants in clear, amber and green are the signature, alongside iron and brass frames and shades in jute, rattan and wicker. Outdoor wall lights extend the same materials to covered porches and garden walls.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom pieces include beds and storage furniture in mango and reclaimed wood, mirrors in brass and iron frames, and bedding and throws in cotton and linen. For bathrooms we stock accessories in ceramic, glass and wood alongside towels and mats.

Garden and Christmas

The garden range covers outdoor seating and tables built for covered and open spaces. At Christmas we stock recycled glass baubles, giant baubles, wreaths and garlands, and festive decorations in the same glass, brass and natural materials as the rest of the range.

Materials and finishes

Recycled glass and mouth-blown glass are the thread most people recognise, but iron and mango wood are just as common across the range, with ceramic, aluminium, jute, brass, cotton, reclaimed wood, leather, wool, linen and rattan behind them. Finishes group around natural, antique brass, clear, rust, charcoal, black and cream, which is why pieces bought at different times still work together.
