Description

The Aureon is a triple-ring alabaster pendant light built around three concentric hoops of natural Spanish alabaster, measuring 600mm, 800mm and 1000mm in diameter. Each ring has an 80mm circular section profile and is held at staggered heights by brushed brass cable suspensions from a single circular brass canopy. Integrated LEDs run inside each ring at a combined 166W and 3000K, lighting the alabaster from within so the stone itself becomes the diffuser.

Designed for double-height spaces, open-plan dining rooms, stairwell voids and large entrance halls, the Aureon needs ceiling height and floor area to read correctly. The 1000mm outer ring sets the visual footprint, so the light suits rooms with at least a 3m clear span beneath the canopy. The 2000mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, letting the rings be arranged in a tighter cluster or spread across a longer vertical drop depending on the void.

Each alabaster ring is cut and joined from sections of natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, cloud patterning and tonal variation differ across the three rings and across individual fittings. Brushed brass clamps mark the joins and double as the cable anchor points, giving the alabaster a visible mounting structure rather than hiding it. The combined material weight makes this a substantial fitting, and the single round canopy keeps ceiling fixings concentrated to one point.

What ceiling height does the Aureon need?

The 2000mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, but the largest ring measures 1000mm across, so the fitting reads best in rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or higher. Double-height voids, stairwells and open-plan dining rooms are typical settings. In lower ceilings the cables can be shortened to bring the rings closer to the canopy.

Are the three rings arranged in a fixed pattern?

No. Each ring suspends on its own brushed brass cables from the single circular canopy, so the rings can be set at different heights and rotated relative to each other on installation. This allows the cluster to be tuned to the room, tighter and more compact, or spread across a longer vertical drop.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LEDs are integrated into the rings rather than fitted as replaceable bulbs. The combined output is 166W at 3000K on 230V mains, with a 2-year warranty against LED failure.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
