Eglo ceiling lights, pendants and downlights

Ceiling lights and pendant lights lead the Eglo range on our store, with downlights next. A pendant hangs down over a dining table, a kitchen island or a stairwell, while a ceiling light sits closer to the ceiling and keeps the headroom clear in a low room. Downlights cast light straight down, and a row of them gives a kitchen even light; spotlights direct light at a worktop, a picture or a shelf. Track lighting, LED strip lights, ceiling fans and smart home lights are part of the range too.

Eglo wall lights, table lamps and floor lamps

Wall lights, table lamps and floor lamps add softer light at a lower level. A pair of wall lights either side of a bed leaves the bedside table free, a table lamp gives a reading chair its own light, and a floor lamp lifts a dark corner of the living room. We stock light bulbs and lighting accessories too.

Eglo outdoor and bathroom lights by IP rating

Outdoor wall lights are the largest outdoor group, joined by post and pillar lights, decking and ground lights, floodlights and solar-powered lights that charge from daylight. Lights with a motion sensor turn on when they sense movement, so a hallway or a doorway is lit as you reach it.

The IP rating tells you how well a light keeps out dust and water. IP20 lights are for dry rooms indoors. IP44 lights are protected against splashing water from any direction, so look to them for a sheltered porch or a bathroom; the range also includes lights made for bathrooms. IP54 adds protection against dust, and IP65 lights are sealed against dust and jets of water, for an exposed wall or garden. Check the rating on the product page against where the light will go and, in a bathroom, the zone it will sit in.

White, black, metal and glass: Eglo finishes and materials

White and black lead the finishes, followed by silver, brown, gold and grey, with clear, nickel, red, copper and green in smaller numbers. Metal leads the materials, then plastic and glass, with wood and fabric for a warmer or more decorative look. Glass scatters light around a room, while fabric gives a softer glow. To pull a scheme together, give a pendant and the wall lights around it the same finish.

Eglo vases, artificial plants and home decor

Home decor is a smaller part of the Eglo range: vases, sculptures and figurines, artificial plants and planters, candle holders and decorative bowls, with wall art, photo frames, clocks and rugs. Set a vase or a sculpture next to a table lamp on a sideboard and the lamp lights it in the evening. There are some Christmas decorations and a little furniture as well.
