Description

Cronvena is an outdoor LED floor lamp in the bollard style: a slim rectangular post, 77cm tall, 11cm long and 6cm wide, with an open rectangular frame at its head. The body is cast aluminium in a black finish, and white plastic diffusers line the frame, softening the glow of two integrated LED lights, each rated at 5W and giving 550lm. The light is a warm 3000K. Rated IP54, it is protected from splashing water, so it can stand outdoors in a garden, a border or beside a path.

We would put it where people walk after dark: along a garden path, at the edge of a lawn, or either side of a front door or patio step to mark the entrance. Its slim profile lets it slip into a planted border or a strip of gravel without crowding the planting. The black finish sits quietly against timber cladding, pale render or stone paving, so it suits a modern home as easily as a more traditional garden. Set in a pair, two posts give visitors a clear, welcoming route to the door.

The body is cast aluminium, and aluminium does not rust, which counts for a light that stands outside all year. The black finish has a fine texture, and the white plastic diffusers spread the light softly. There is no switch on the post itself: it is switched at the wall, and the LEDs are not dimmable, so it gives the same warm light every evening. It runs on 220-240V mains power, and as a wired-in light it is installed by a qualified electrician. The packed weight is 1.723KG, and the installation instructions come as a download.
