Bloomingville MINI

We stock Bloomingville MINI for the nursery, across children's tableware, toys, storage, bookcases, chairs and decor. The main materials are stoneware, MDF, fabric and wood, and some pieces are handpainted. Multicoloured designs sit alongside plainer brown ones, so a bookcase by the bed, a chair beside it and storage for toys can share one cheerful room.

Bloomingville MINI stoneware for mealtimes

Tableware is the largest part of our Bloomingville MINI range, and stoneware is the main material across it. Some pieces come as sets and some with lids, for a small breakfast table by the window or a nursery shelf.

Care rows on the product pages say whether a piece is food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe or oven safe, and over a quarter of the range is marked food safe. Of the pieces with a dishwasher row, almost every one is marked safe; of those with microwave and oven rows, most are marked safe and a few are not. Check the rows before a piece goes into the oven or microwave.

Bloomingville MINI toys and nursery decor

Toys and decor together make up about a quarter of the range, including a few baby mobiles. Fabric is one of the main materials, and a smaller run of textiles and rugs adds softness to a floor or a window seat.

Where a piece carries a recommended age, it is a starting age, and the ages listed run from birth to three years. A few pieces are marked suitable from birth. Check the age on the product page before you buy for a baby.

Bookcases, chairs and lidded storage for the nursery

Bookcases and chairs lead the furniture, with a few tables too, and storage keeps toys and books within reach. MDF and wood are among the main materials, and a few pieces are woven from rattan, wicker or seagrass. A bookcase against the wall, a chair close by and storage at floor height make a reading corner.

Measured across, pieces run from 5.5cm to 130cm, heights reach 148cm and the longest piece is 204cm long, so check the measurements on the product page against your room. One or two pieces need self-assembly, and the product page says so.

Putting multicoloured, brown and handpainted pieces together

Multicoloured designs make up nearly half of the range, brown comes next, and a few pieces come in natural, white, green or blue. That makes it easy to pair a busy piece with a plain one, such as a multicoloured chair beside something in quiet brown.

Some designs are handpainted, and a few pieces are finished in water-based paint. On a few hand-decorated pieces the colour and its intensity can vary, so two of the same design may not match exactly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Bloomingville MINI stoneware go in the dishwasher, microwave or oven?
Check the care rows on the product page for the piece you have in mind. Of the pieces with a dishwasher row, almost every one is marked dishwasher safe. Of those with microwave and oven rows, most are marked safe, but a few are marked not safe, and more say no to the oven than to the microwave.

Is the Bloomingville MINI tableware safe for food?
Over a quarter of our Bloomingville MINI range is marked food safe on its care rows. Before you choose a piece for daily meals, look for the food-safe row on its product page, which shows whether that piece is marked safe for food, alongside its dishwasher and microwave rows.

What ages are Bloomingville MINI toys suitable for?
Where a piece carries a recommended age, it is given as a starting age, and the ages listed run from birth to three years. A few pieces are marked suitable from birth, while others start later, so check the age on the product page before you buy, particularly for a baby or a younger sibling.

How big are Bloomingville MINI pieces?
They range widely, from tableware to furniture. Measured across, pieces run from 5.5cm to 130cm, heights reach 148cm and the longest piece is 204cm long. Measure the space by a wall or under a window first, then check the measurements on the product page before you order a bookcase or a chair.

What materials is the Bloomingville MINI range made from?
The main materials are stoneware, MDF, fabric and wood. A few pieces are woven from rattan, wicker or seagrass, and a few use metal or resin. Finishes include handpainted surfaces and, on a few pieces, water-based paint. Check the product page for the materials of any piece before you order.

Will two handpainted Bloomingville MINI pieces match exactly?
They may not. Some designs are handpainted, and on a few hand-decorated pieces the colour and its intensity can vary, so two of the same design may differ a little. If you are building a matching set for the table or replacing one piece, allow for small differences between them.

What colours does the Bloomingville MINI range come in?
Multicoloured designs make up nearly half of the range, and brown comes next. A few pieces come in natural, white, green or blue, with a handful in yellow, red or grey, so a bright piece can sit beside a plainer one in the same nursery.
