Description
This is a rocking llama with a long, shaggy white coat, standing on a pair of curved wooden rockers. It has a stitched smile, two beady eyes, pointed ears and rounded feet, and a wooden handle runs through its head with a grip on each side for small hands to hold. The materials are polyester and poplar wood: the polyester is that deep, shaggy pile, and the poplar makes the rockers, the crossbars and the handle. It measures 65cm long, 25cm wide and 45cm tall, and weighs 2.6KG.
At 45cm tall it sits low to the floor, so it suits a nursery, a playroom or a corner of the family sitting room, and at 25cm wide it tucks against a wall when nobody is riding. At 2.6KG an adult can lift it from one room to the next, so it can follow the play around the house. The white coat and wooden rockers sit quietly in a calm nursery scheme, and it makes a cheerful gift to leave under the Christmas tree for a young child to find. The maker gives its maximum load as 60KG.
The llama stands on two wooden crossbars that join the rockers, with its shaggy coat covering the body, neck and head and a smooth face around the stitched smile. Some assembly is needed before the first ride, and the maker's assembly instructions come as a PDF download. For styling, set it on a striped or woven rug in the corner of a nursery, beside a low shelf of picture books, where the white coat shows up well against wooden floors and baskets of toys.
