Industrial controls for site, commercial and outdoor power

CEE and Ceeform connections handle power where a domestic plug will not do, on building sites, in workshops, across commercial units and outdoors. This range covers the plugs, sockets, connectors and inlets that make up those circuits, colour-coded so the rating is clear at a glance: yellow for 110V and red for 415V three-phase, with blue units alongside. Ratings run at 16A and 32A through the connectors, with 2P+E used on the single-phase units and 3P+N+E on the three-phase plugs, and most carry an IP44 rating for use in damp and dusty conditions.

Mounting options take in angled panel mount and surface mount sockets, so a connection can sit on a wall, a board or a piece of equipment. Three-way splitters share a single feed across more than one outlet, and Ceeform to UK adaptor leads and conversion leads bridge site connectors to a standard UK plug or socket where the two have to meet. Four-pole rotary isolators from 20A to 63A carry an IP65 rating with a red and yellow handle, giving a clear local on and off point for a machine or supply.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do the colours and voltages mean?
The colour marks the voltage band: yellow is 110V for site supplies, blue is 240V single phase, and red is 415V three phase. The 240V and 415V bands run in 16A and 32A, with 16A in 110V, so you can match the connector to the supply you are working from.

Are these suitable for outdoor and site use?
Most of the plugs, sockets, connectors and splitters here are rated IP44, which guards against splashing water and is widely used on site and outdoors. The four-pole rotary isolators carry a higher IP65 rating for more exposed positions.

What amp ratings are available?
CEE plugs, sockets and connectors come in 16A and 32A. The rotary isolators run from 20A through 32A to 63A, four-pole, so you can size the disconnection point to the load it controls.

Can I connect a Ceeform supply to a standard UK plug?
Yes. The Mercury adaptor leads convert between a 13A Ceeform connection and a UK socket or plug, which is handy for running standard equipment from a Ceeform supply temporarily.

Do I need an electrician to fit these?
Panel and surface mount sockets, appliance inlets and rotary isolators connect into fixed wiring, so we recommend a qualified electrician carries out the installation. Plug-and-socket connections on trailing leads can be made up following the maker's instructions.
