What cable gland size does it accept?

The socket comes with a PG21 cable gland fitted to the base. A PG21 to M20 adaptor is included in the box, allowing you to use either PG21 or M20 cable glands depending on the cable diameter and type you're working with.

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes, the IP44 rating protects against water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for outdoor use in semi-exposed locations such as under eaves, canopies or temporary shelters. It should not be used in locations with direct heavy rain or where it may be submerged.
