Description

This Knightsbridge 16A industrial connector provides a 2-pole + earth connection rated at 240V, housed in a blue and white IP44-rated shell. The connector pairs a white ribbed cable entry gland with a blue moulded socket body, fitting standard IEC 60309-2 Type 213 industrial plugs. The IP44 rating protects internal contacts against solid objects above 1mm and water splashes from any direction.

Designed for site power distribution, workshop equipment, temporary event installations and outdoor machinery, the connector suits applications where standard domestic sockets cannot safely handle the current draw or environmental exposure. The 16A rating supports loads up to 3,840W at 240V, covering power tools, lighting rigs, pumps and portable generators. The two-pole configuration with separate earth terminal isolates both live and neutral when disconnected.
