Description

The Tortora is a 10-light suspension chandelier built around a central brushed gold rod, with ten thin arms radiating outward at staggered heights and angles. Each arm terminates in an opal white glass globe seated on a small perforated brass cup, lit by a G9 5W bulb. The fitting measures 140cm wide by 120cm tall, with a 150cm adjustable cable from the ceiling rose.

The scale and sculptural footprint make the Tortora suited to large dining tables, double-height entrance halls, open-plan kitchen-living spaces and stairwell voids. The 120cm overall drop works best with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, and the radiating arm pattern means it reads well from below, from the side, and from upper landings or galleries that look down onto it. The 150cm cable allows the drop to be shortened on installation.

The arms are arranged on three rotational planes around the central stem, giving the fitting visible depth from any viewing angle rather than the flat silhouette of a traditional branch chandelier. The opal glass globes diffuse the G9 bulbs into a soft, even glow without hot spots, and the brushed gold finish on the metal frame avoids the hard reflectivity of polished brass. Total light output across all ten globes is 50W equivalent, providing ambient rather than task-level illumination.
