Salam Striped Kids Bookshelf - Brown

This low, open bookshelf for a child's room is made from painted MDF and stands on four natural pine legs. It measures 90cm long, 30cm wide and 50cm tall, and the long box is divided into three open compartments side by side. The front carries pale vertical stripes over the brown. The back and sides are plain brown, and the inside of every compartment is patterned with a scatter of small dots, a little surprise that shows once the books come out.

Because the top is open and the whole piece stands 50cm tall, a child can look straight down into each compartment and lift out a picture book or a favourite soft toy without a door or drawer in the way. It suits a nursery, a bedroom or a playroom, and the three compartments make sorting simple: picture books in one, soft toys in another, games and puzzles in the third.
