Olfie Soft Toy - Beige

Olfie is a sitting bear soft toy with a round tummy, short arms held out at its sides and two small rounded ears, covered all over in a curly beige coat that swirls into tight little rosettes. The muzzle and the soles of the feet are a ribbed fabric, a smoother contrast to the curls. Both the outer fabric and the filling are 100% polyester. Olfie measures 33cm long, 25cm wide and 30cm tall, which makes it a proper armful rather than a pocket toy, yet at 0.27KG it is light enough to be carried from room to room.

Olfie belongs in a child's bedroom or a nursery, ready for story time and long afternoons of play. With its broad base and legs stretched out in front, it sits upright on its own, so between cuddles it can keep watch from the end of a bed, a bookshelf or a small chair. We think it makes a lovely birthday or Christmas present for a child who likes a big, soft bear to hug. The beige coat sits comfortably with muted, natural bedding and painted furniture, so it settles into a room without clashing.

The outer is a woven fabric, and care is straightforward: Olfie can be machine washed at 40 degrees, tumble dried on a low setting and ironed on a medium setting, so a muddy paw after a trip to the park can simply go in the wash. Polyester is a light, hard-wearing fibre that takes regular washing well. The styling props shown are not included, so you receive Olfie on its own. For a cosy display, sit it at the end of a made bed or on a low stool in a reading corner, where its curly coat and ribbed muzzle are easy to see and reach.
