Description

Ibber is a giraffe soft toy with a very long neck, and that length is what makes it. Laid out straight it measures 184cm long, 30cm wide and 12cm tall, big enough for a small child to wrap their arms around rather than simply hold. The outer is 100% cotton in yellow, covered in rounded spots, and the filling is 100% polyester, so for all its length it weighs just 0.82KG. A sleepy, closed-eyed face, two small ears, a fringed mane running down the neck, four short legs and a tasselled tail give it plenty of character.

Because the body is long and soft, Ibber takes whatever shape it is given. It can lie stretched along the length of a bed, curve into an S across a playroom rug, or curl round into a loop that a child can sit inside. At bedtime it is a cuddly companion to settle down with; during the day it becomes a long cushion to lean on while looking at books on the floor. In a children's room it also works as decoration once play is over, resting along the foot of a bed or draped over a bench. As a gift, its sheer size is part of the fun when it comes out of the wrapping.

The cover is cotton throughout, with a soft, matt surface, and the mane and tail are fringed tufts that add texture against the smooth body.
