Description

Tito is a soft toy dog with a shaggy, curly white coat, floppy ears and a striped bow tied at its neck. It sits up with its front paws forward and a small nose and eyes peeping out from the fur, and it measures 28cm long, 20cm wide and 20cm tall. At 0.24KG it is light to pick up and carry, yet big enough to be a proper armful for a hug. The outer fabric is 80% polyester and 20% cotton, and the filling is 100% polyester, which gives it a soft, squashy body all the way through.

We think Tito belongs in a nursery or a child's bedroom, where it looks just as much at home propped on a shelf or at the end of the bed as it does being carried from room to room. The curly white coat sits easily with soft, calm furnishings, and the striped bow adds a small, crisp detail that keeps it from looking plain. It is a lovely choice of gift for a birthday or a family visit, and because it is a dog with a name of its own, it has a ready-made personality for a child to build stories around.

The finish is a woven fabric, and the coat has a loose, curly texture that is lovely to run your fingers through. When it needs freshening up, it can go in the washing machine at 40 degrees and then into the tumble dryer on a low setting, so a muddy day in the garden need not be the end of it. The care instructions also allow a medium iron. For a simple shelf display, sit Tito beside a stack of picture books or a small woven basket, where the white coat and striped bow stand out nicely against wood and natural textures.
