Description

This is a two-tier wall shelf in yellow: two flat painted shelves held apart by four turned legs in a contrasting shade, each one shaped like a short stack of rounded beads. It measures 60cm long, 17cm wide and 21.5cm tall, which gives you two levels of display along a stretch of wall without giving up any floor space. It is made from 70% MDF and 30% fir wood and weighs 3.1KG. At 17cm deep, each shelf has room for books laid flat, small boxes and little figures.

Its natural home is a child's bedroom or playroom, where it works as a small bookcase on the wall: picture books along the lower shelf, a pot of colouring pencils and a few favourite figures on top. Because it hangs rather than stands, it keeps the floor clear for play and fits above a desk or a chest of drawers. The bright yellow and those bobbly legs suit a nursery just as well, and it sits happily in a hallway for keys and post, or in a home office for anyone who likes a little colour at work.
