Our Mingus wall shelf is made entirely of paulownia, a timber known for being unusually light, and it pairs a narrow shelf with a round rail that runs beneath it and reaches out past each end. It measures 60cm long, 12cm wide and 14cm tall, and weighs just 0.55KG, so it is easy to lift into place. The 12cm depth is enough for picture books, a row of small toys or a favourite teddy, while keeping the shelf close to the wall. Its colour is natural, with the grain of the wood visible along the top and the rounded ends.
