Description

The Mannera-L is a battery-powered LED floor lamp in grey, with a small dome shade on a slender stem and a round disc base. It stands 140cm tall and 16cm in diameter, on a base 20cm wide, so it needs very little floor space. The body is aluminium and steel, the shade is plastic, and a white band at the rim of the grey dome frames the integrated LED, which draws 4.3W and gives 440lm. It is rated IP54, protected from dust and splashing water, and that settles where it can go: indoors, or outside on a terrace, a balcony or a patio.

Because it runs from a battery rather than a wall socket, you can stand it wherever the light is wanted: beside a reading chair, in the corner of a living room, among the plants in a conservatory, or by the table on a summer evening outdoors. The battery is four lithium-ion cells, 2200mAh, and the run time is 47 hours. We think it suits anyone who likes to move a lamp with the seasons, from the sitting room in winter to the terrace in summer, and anyone who wants good light in a spot with no socket nearby.

Three colour temperatures are chosen at the light: a very warm 2400K for quiet evenings, a warm 3000K for everyday living and a cool 4000K when you are reading or working.
