Description

The Knightsbridge BT is an 18W LED bulkhead with adjustable wattage and colour temperature settings built into the body. A switch on the unit allows selection between 9W, 14W or 18W output, and a second switch chooses between 3000K, 4000K or 5700K colour temperature. The 300mm diameter white polycarbonate body houses an SMD LED module behind an opal diffuser, delivering up to 1750lm at 4000K on the 18W setting.

Designed for multi-unit installations in schools, housing blocks, car parks, corridors and external access routes, the adjustable settings mean a single product variant can serve different zones without needing separate SKUs for each wattage or colour temperature. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets, while the IK10 impact rating withstands deliberate vandalism or accidental collision. The twist-lock front cover removes without tools for lamp module replacement or cleaning.

The white polycarbonate body resists UV degradation and the opal diffuser spreads a 120-degree beam across walls and ceilings without glare hotspots. Push-fit wiring terminals accept cable entry from the rear or side, reducing installation time on surface-mounted runs. Optional clip-on bezels in different finishes allow visual customisation without re-wiring. The Class II double-insulated construction means no earth connection is required, simplifying wiring in older buildings.

The LED module carries a 50,000-hour L70B50 rating, meaning 70% of the initial lumen output is retained after 50,000 hours of continuous use. The 5-year warranty covers the driver, LED module and body.
