Description

The TorlanPro is a 1800mm (6ft) IP69K-rated LED batten designed for high-pressure washdown environments where standard IP65 fittings fail. Built with a sealed acrylic and nylon body, it withstands direct high-pressure steam cleaning (up to 80°C at 100 bar) and carries IK08 impact protection, making it suitable for food production facilities, commercial kitchens, livestock enclosures, chemical prep areas and pharmaceutical cleanrooms.

The integrated 50W LED delivers 7,175 lumens at 4000K through an opal diffuser with a 140-degree beam angle, providing even wash light across work surfaces and floor areas without dark spots. The fast-fit sealed cable entry allows mains connection without opening the luminaire body, maintaining the IP69K seal during installation and reducing contamination risk in hygiene-critical environments. Class II wiring means no earth connection is required, simplifying the install in older buildings or temporary structures.

The 75mm diameter white body mounts via end-cap brackets to ceilings or walls, and the 1800mm length suits standard 6ft bay spacing in industrial units. The LED is rated to L70B50 at 60,000 hours (approximately 6.8 years of continuous operation), and the unit carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty. The 4000K colour temperature is classed as neutral white, giving better colour rendering than cooler 5000K-6000K industrial battens while maintaining the alertness needed in task environments.

The IP69K certification is tested to DIN 40050-9 and is the highest ingress protection rating available, exceeding IP67 and IP68 by including resistance to high-temperature, high-pressure washdown. IP69K is the highest ingress protection rating, certified to withstand high-pressure (up to 100 bar), high-temperature (up to 80°C) steam cleaning. It's required in food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, commercial kitchens and any environment where hygiene protocols demand regular pressurised washdown. Standard IP65 fittings are not rated for this and will fail under steam cleaning.

Can this batten be installed in wet or humid environments?

Yes. The IP69K rating means the batten is fully sealed against water ingress from any angle, including submersion. It's designed specifically for environments with high humidity, condensation, and regular direct water exposure.

Is the TorlanPro dimmable?
