Description

The Vire Single 5ft tri-proof batten is a 1520mm polycarbonate linear fitting with an integrated 30W LED delivering 3,400-3,700 lumens depending on colour temperature selected. The unit carries IP65 ingress protection against water jets and dust, and IK08 impact resistance against mechanical strikes up to 5 joules, making it suitable for industrial, agricultural, and exposed outdoor installations.

Designed for garages, workshops, warehouses, car parks, loading bays, cold stores, and external canopies, the batten mounts directly to ceilings or walls using the supplied brackets. A tool-free cable entry system simplifies wiring during installation, and through-wiring terminals allow up to 800W of daisy-chained load across multiple fittings on a single circuit. Twist-and-lock end caps provide access to the terminals without removing the entire diffuser.

The CCT selector switch on the driver allows the colour temperature to be set to 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, or 5700K daylight white before or after installation. The polycarbonate body resists corrosion in damp and salt-spray environments, and the white finish reflects ambient light rather than absorbing heat. The L70B50 rating of 50,000 hours indicates 70% lumen maintenance at 50,000 hours of operation under standard conditions, equating to approximately 17 years at 8 hours per day.
