Description

The Knightsbridge NETSATSWH is a fully screened satellite outlet module with a single F-type connector, designed for modular grid plates and mounting boxes. The module measures 25mm wide by 50mm high, fitting standard 1-gang or 2-gang grid frames alongside other modules such as power sockets, data outlets or audio jacks.

Designed for satellite TV distribution systems in residential and commercial installations, the module accepts coaxial cable with a 1mm centre conductor (compatible with PF100, H109F, QF100 and similar satellite-grade cables). The F-type connector provides a secure threaded connection for the satellite cable from the dish or distribution amplifier, minimising signal loss and preventing the ingress of interference from adjacent cables or electrical sources. The screening meets EN 50083-2, providing isolation between adjacent modules and reducing cross-talk when multiple modules are installed in the same grid plate.

The white ABS construction matches standard white grid plates and wiring accessories across the Knightsbridge range. The module requires a minimum mounting box depth of 35mm behind the wall, with the module itself projecting 30mm into the box when fully installed. Cable connections are made via clamp and screw terminals at the rear of the module, accessible without removing adjacent modules once the grid faceplate is removed.

The module accepts satellite coaxial cables with a 1mm centre conductor, including PF100, H109F and QF100. The clamp and screw terminal at the rear secures both the conductor and the outer braid or foil screen.

Can it be used in a multi-room satellite system?

Yes. The module is designed for satellite distribution systems and can be installed downstream of a satellite distribution amplifier or multiswitch. The full screening to EN 50083-2 minimises cross-talk between adjacent modules in the same grid plate.

What grid plates and frames is it compatible with?

The 25x50mm module fits standard Knightsbridge and compatible grid systems. Two of these modules fit side-by-side in a standard 2-gang grid frame, or it can be combined with other 25mm or 50mm-wide modules to create custom outlet configurations.

A minimum 35mm mounting box depth is required behind the wall. The module projects 30mm into the box when installed, leaving 5mm clearance for cable bends and connections.
