Description

This DisplayPort wall plate module provides a single DisplayPort 2.0 socket on a 50mm x 25mm clip-in faceplate, with a 19mm female tail extending from the rear. The module clips into standard modular AV wall plate frames, allowing DisplayPort cables to be routed behind walls or through trunking to connect monitors, projectors and displays without visible cable runs.

Designed for commercial, educational and residential AV installations, the module suits meeting rooms where displays are wall-mounted and sources are located in cabinets, classrooms with ceiling-mounted projectors fed from teaching desks, and home offices where desktop computers connect to wall-mounted monitors. The clip-in format allows multiple modules to be combined in a single frame alongside HDMI, USB, Ethernet and audio sockets.

The module is compatible with AV:Link wall plate frames 122.500UK (single-gang) and 122.505UK (double-gang), which are sold separately. The DisplayPort 2.0 specification supports resolutions up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz over standard DisplayPort cables, depending on cable quality and length. The white faceplate sits flush with the frame once clipped in, and the module weighs 38g.
