Description

This RJ45 keystone jack gives you a tidy way to terminate network cabling in patch panels, surface mount boxes, or wall plates with standard keystone ports. It slots straight into any compatible opening, so you can build out a socket layout to suit the room without needing special tools beyond a punch-down tool for the IDC contacts.

The jack works with all versions of Cat5, Cat6 and Cat7 cabling, so it covers everything from basic home networking through to higher bandwidth runs. It supports both T568A and T568B UTP wiring layouts, and the colour coded labels make it clear which wire goes where. That takes a lot of guesswork out of the job, whether you are wiring a single point or a full rack.

Termination uses insulation displacement contacts (IDC), so you push each conductor into place and the contact cuts through the insulation to make the connection. There is no need to strip individual wires. Once punched down, the jack clips into your keystone plate or panel and gives you a standard RJ45 (8P8C) port ready for a patch lead. It is a straightforward, reusable module for anyone setting up structured cabling at home or in the office.
