Description
The Knightsbridge diplexed TV/FM DAB outlet module combines a TV aerial outlet and an FM/DAB radio outlet in a single 50 x 50mm grey faceplate. The module is fully screened to EN 50083-2, providing minimal signal ingress, low insertion loss and negligible crosstalk between the two services when installed in multi-occupancy or shared aerial distribution systems.
Designed for modular grid systems in residential, student accommodation and hospitality installations, the module fits a 35mm minimum mounting box depth and accepts cables with 1mm conductors such as PF100, H109F and QF100. The TV connection uses a male coaxial outlet, while the FM/DAB connection uses a female coaxial outlet, allowing separate antenna feeds for terrestrial television and digital radio services to terminate at a single wall position.
The clamp and screw terminal arrangement provides tool-free cable retention on the back of the module, with a hinged access panel allowing cables to be inserted or replaced without removing the module from the grid frame. The grey ABS construction carries an IP20 rating for standard indoor use, and the 50 x 50mm footprint is compatible with Knightsbridge grid plate systems and other standard modular grid frameworks.

Frequently Asked
What cable types are compatible?
The module accepts coaxial cables with 1mm conductors, including PF100, H109F and QF100 types commonly used in residential aerial distribution systems. The clamp and screw terminals accommodate these cables without requiring specialist connectors.
Can TV and radio signals share one cable to this module?
No. This is a diplexed outlet, meaning it terminates two separate cables at one faceplate position: one for the TV aerial feed and one for the FM/DAB radio feed. Each service requires its own coaxial run from the distribution amplifier or splitter.
What grid systems is it compatible with?
The 50 x 50mm footprint fits Knightsbridge modular grid plates and other standard grid frameworks that accept 50mm modules. Check the grid plate specification to confirm the number of module positions available.
What does EN 50083-2 screening mean?
EN 50083-2 is a European standard for screened coaxial distribution systems. Compliance means the module minimises signal leakage and external interference, reducing crosstalk and maintaining signal quality in multi-dwelling installations where multiple aerial services run close together.
