Description
The Knightsbridge NETQDBK is a quadplexed outlet module combining two satellite connections (SAT1 and SAT2), one TV connection and one FM/DAB aerial connection in a single 50 x 50mm black grid module. The four separate signal paths allow simultaneous delivery of satellite, terrestrial TV and radio signals to equipment requiring multiple feeds, such as Sky+ or Sky Q installations that need two satellite feeds plus terrestrial aerial backup.
Designed for modular grid systems in residential and light commercial AV installations, the module fits a standard 50 x 50mm grid aperture and requires a minimum mounting depth of 35mm behind the faceplate. The connections use F-type connectors for the two satellite feeds, a male coaxial connector for TV and a female coaxial connector for FM/DAB, accepting cables with a 1mm conductor diameter such as PF100, H109F or QF100 satellite/aerial cable.
The module is fully screened to EN 50083-2, providing low signal loss, minimal external interference ingress and negligible cross-talk between the four signal paths. This screening standard ensures that satellite, TV and radio signals remain isolated from each other within the module, preventing degradation when multiple feeds are routed through the same outlet point. The black ABS construction and IP20 rating suit typical indoor wall installations in living rooms, home cinema setups and multi-room AV distribution systems.

Frequently Asked
What's the difference between SAT1 and SAT2?
The two satellite connections allow dual-feed satellite equipment such as Sky+ or Sky Q boxes to receive two separate satellite feeds simultaneously. SAT1 and SAT2 are isolated signal paths — one typically carries the horizontal polarisation feed and the other the vertical polarisation feed from a dual-LNB dish.
What cable does it accept?
The module accepts satellite and aerial cables with a 1mm conductor diameter, including standard types such as PF100, H109F and QF100. The connections use clamp and screw terminals for secure cable retention.
What mounting depth is required?
A minimum 35mm mounting depth is needed behind the grid faceplate to accommodate the module and cable connections. The module itself has a recessed depth of 31mm.
Is it compatible with Knightsbridge grid systems?
Yes. The 50 x 50mm footprint is a standard grid module size compatible with Knightsbridge modular grid faceplates and mounting frames. Multiple modules can be combined in a single multi-gang grid plate.
