Description
The Knightsbridge HDMI outlet module is a 25 x 50mm black ABS insert designed to fit euro-module faceplates, providing a single HDMI v1.4 socket on the front face. A 100mm cable connects the front socket to a female HDMI socket at the rear, allowing the installer to terminate the in-wall HDMI cable behind the module rather than directly into the insert itself.
Designed for residential AV installations, home cinema setups, and commercial presentation spaces, the module fits standard euro-module grid systems from Knightsbridge and compatible ranges. The 47mm minimum mounting box depth accommodates the module and the rear cable connection without crushing the cable. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations only.
The black ABS finish matches other black euro-modules in the Knightsbridge range, allowing coordinated multi-gang faceplates combining HDMI, USB, Cat6 and other AV connections. The HDMI v1.4 specification supports 1080p video at 60Hz, 4K at 30Hz, and standard audio return channel (ARC) for compatible displays and AV receivers.

Frequently Asked
What faceplate does this fit?
This module fits any euro-module grid faceplate system with 25 x 50mm apertures, including Knightsbridge's own euro-module ranges and compatible third-party systems. One, two, three, four and six-gang euro-module faceplates are available separately.
Does it support 4K video?
The HDMI v1.4 specification supports 4K resolution at 30Hz. For 4K at 60Hz or HDR content, an HDMI v2.0 or later module would be required.
What's the purpose of the rear cable?
The 100mm rear cable allows the in-wall HDMI cable to be terminated to a female socket behind the module rather than being forced into a tight bend at the back of the insert. This reduces strain on the cable and makes installation easier in shallow back boxes.
What mounting box depth is needed?
A minimum 47mm mounting box depth is required to accommodate the 40mm recessed depth of the module plus the rear cable connection without crushing the cable.
