Description

The Knightsbridge dual USB charger module provides one USB-A and one USB-C port rated at 5V DC 3.1A combined output, designed to fit 25 x 50mm euro-module grid faceplates. The module accepts 230V mains input and steps down to safe 5V DC charging output through an internal transformer with overload protection built in.

Designed for installation into modular grid systems in kitchens, offices, hotel rooms and residential settings where wall-mounted USB charging is needed without occupying a 13A socket. The 25 x 50mm footprint occupies one double-width euro-module position on a grid faceplate, allowing it to be paired with other modules such as switches, data ports or additional sockets on the same plate. The 36.5mm depth requires a minimum 35mm back box.

The 3.1A total output is shared between both ports, so charging two devices simultaneously splits the available current between them. The USB-C port supports modern fast-charge protocols for compatible devices, while the USB-A retains compatibility with older cables and peripherals. The black ABS construction and Class II double-insulated design meet BS 5733 and BS EN 62368 certification standards for safe residential and commercial use.
