Description

The Knightsbridge SAT TV outlet module is a 25 x 50mm grey ABS insert designed for euro-module faceplates, providing a female F-type connector for satellite TV and aerial connections. The module sits in a single euro-module aperture and uses an F-type coupler connection on the rear for cable termination, allowing satellite and TV signals to be distributed through a modular grid faceplate system.

Designed for residential, hospitality and commercial AV installations where satellite TV and terrestrial aerial feeds need to be integrated into modular switch and socket plates, the module fits standard 25mm minimum back box depth and works with any Knightsbridge euro-module faceplate. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor locations including living rooms, bedrooms, hotel rooms and office meeting rooms. The grey ABS construction matches standard grey grid faceplates and provides a neutral finish that blends with most wall colours.

The F-type connection on both the front outlet and rear coupler provides a secure screw-threaded connector that resists accidental disconnection and maintains signal integrity better than push-fit connections. The module is certified to BS 5733, the British Standard for coaxial cable assemblies for use in television receiving systems. The 12.5mm recessed depth allows the module to sit flush within the faceplate when installed, with no protrusion beyond the plate surface.

The module fits any euro-module faceplate that accepts 25 x 50mm inserts. Knightsbridge produces compatible faceplates in various finishes including white, chrome, brushed steel and brass, available in 1-gang to 4-gang configurations.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The module itself has a 12.5mm recessed depth, but additional clearance is required behind for the F-type coupler and cable termination.

Is this for satellite or terrestrial TV?

The F-type connection is used for both satellite (SAT) and terrestrial aerial signals. The module can carry either signal type depending on what is fed to it from the distribution system.

Can multiple modules be combined in one faceplate?

Yes. Euro-module faceplates allow multiple modules to be combined in a single plate, so this SAT outlet can sit alongside data, phone, HDMI or other AV modules in a 2-gang, 3-gang or 4-gang faceplate.
