Description

The Knightsbridge SAT TV outlet module is a 25 x 50mm white ABS faceplate with an F-type coaxial connection for satellite and aerial feeds. The module fits into euro-module grid systems, allowing SAT connections to be installed alongside power sockets, data ports and other AV connections in a single multi-gang faceplate.

Designed for residential and commercial AV installations, the module accepts a standard F-type coaxial cable from a satellite dish or aerial distribution system and provides an F-type coupler connection at the front of the faceplate for connecting TV equipment. The 25mm minimum back box depth requirement matches standard single-gang UK back boxes, making it compatible with most retrofit installations.

The white ABS construction provides a clean finish that pairs with white or light-coloured wall plates across domestic and office environments. The module is certified to BS 5733 for satellite and cable distribution systems and carries an IP20 rating for standard indoor use. The 12.5mm recessed depth allows the module to sit flush within the grid frame without protruding beyond the faceplate surface.

What euro-module grid systems is this compatible with?

The 25 x 50mm module fits Knightsbridge's own euro-module grid faceplates and most other manufacturers' grids that accept standard 25mm-wide modules. The module clips into the grid frame and is secured by the outer faceplate.

What cable connects to the rear of the module?

A standard F-type coaxial cable from your satellite dish or aerial distribution amplifier connects to the rear F-type terminal. The front of the module provides an F-type coupler socket for connecting your TV or set-top box via a short coaxial fly lead.

Can this be used for Freeview as well as satellite?

Yes. The F-type connection handles both satellite (Sky, Freesat) and terrestrial aerial (Freeview) signals. The module is certified to BS 5733, which covers both satellite and cable distribution systems.

What back box depth is needed?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is required. The module's 12.5mm recessed depth sits within the grid frame, leaving space behind for cable terminations and the back box fixing lugs.
