Description

The Knightsbridge TV outlet module is a 25 x 50mm coaxial socket designed to fit euro-module faceplates and grid systems. The module provides a female coaxial connection on the front face with screw terminals on the rear PCB for connecting the incoming aerial or satellite cable. The grey ABS construction carries IP20 ingress protection and is certified to BS 5733 for domestic TV distribution.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the module fits into standard euro-module grid frames and faceplates, allowing TV outlets to be combined with power sockets, data modules and other low-voltage connections in a single wall plate. The 25mm recessed depth requires a minimum 25mm back box, making it compatible with standard UK 35mm pattress boxes used for modular wiring systems.

The screw terminal on the rear PCB accepts both clamp-style and screw-style connections, providing flexibility for different cable types and installer preferences. The grey finish matches neutral wall plates and blends into most residential decor without drawing attention. The module is sold individually and requires a separate euro-module faceplate and grid frame for complete installation.

This module fits euro-module grid faceplates that accept 25 x 50mm modules. Knightsbridge produces compatible grid frames and faceplates in various finishes — the module itself does not include a faceplate.

What back box depth is required?

A minimum 25mm back box depth is needed. Standard UK 35mm pattress boxes used for modular grid systems provide sufficient depth for installation.

Is this suitable for satellite signals?

Yes. The female coaxial socket accepts standard coaxial connectors used for both terrestrial TV aerial and satellite feeds. The module is certified to BS 5733 for domestic TV distribution.

Can multiple modules be combined in one plate?

Yes. Euro-module grid systems allow multiple modules to be fitted into a single faceplate, so you can combine this TV outlet with power sockets, Ethernet modules, phone modules or other connections in one wall plate.
