Description

The Knightsbridge NETQDGY is a quadplexed outlet module combining two satellite F-type connections (SAT1, SAT2), one TV male coaxial connection, and one FM/DAB female aerial connection in a single 50x50mm grey ABS faceplate. Fully screened to EN 50083-2, the module provides low-loss signal distribution with minimal ingress and negligible cross-talk between the four outlets, making it suitable for Sky and Sky+ installations where separate satellite feeds are required alongside terrestrial TV and radio.

Designed for grid installation systems in residential, hotel and office AV distribution networks, the module fits a standard 50x50mm grid aperture and requires a minimum 35mm mounting box depth behind the wall. The clamp and screw terminals accept cables with 1mm conductors, including PF100, H109F and QF100 coaxial types. The separate SAT2 outlet allows a second satellite feed to be distributed independently from SAT1, which is essential for dual-tuner receivers and Sky+ boxes that require simultaneous feeds from different LNB outputs.

The grey ABS construction provides an IP20-rated enclosure, suitable for dry indoor locations. The module's screening and impedance matching reduce interference between the four signal paths, maintaining signal integrity across satellite (950-2150 MHz), terrestrial TV (47-862 MHz) and FM/DAB (88-230 MHz) bands. The 31mm recessed depth keeps the front profile low once installed in the grid frame.

Frequently Asked

What's the difference between SAT1 and SAT2?

SAT1 and SAT2 are independent satellite feeds, typically connected to different outputs from a quad LNB or distribution amplifier. Dual-tuner receivers like Sky+ boxes require two separate satellite feeds to allow recording one channel while watching another, which is why this module provides both SAT1 and SAT2 outlets on the same faceplate.

What cable types are compatible?

The clamp and screw terminals accept coaxial cables with 1mm conductors, including PF100, H109F, QF100 and equivalent satellite-grade coaxial types. Ensure the cable outer diameter matches the terminal capacity.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the module is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, outdoor installations, or areas subject to moisture or dust ingress.

What mounting box depth is needed?

A minimum 35mm mounting box depth is required to accommodate the module's 31mm recessed depth plus cable terminations. Shallow boxes will not provide sufficient clearance for safe installation.
