Description

This AV:Link USB 3.0 Type-A wall plate module provides a single USB 3.0 socket in a 50mm x 25mm white clip-in format, designed to fit modular wall plate frames and desk cable management systems. A 17mm female tail extends from the back of the module, allowing connection to a USB cable routed through conduit or cavity walls.

The module suits desk installations, meeting rooms, classrooms and home offices where USB peripherals need to be connected at a fixed location without visible trailing cables. Compatible with AV:Link wall plate frames (122.500UK and 122.505UK), the module clips into a standard single or multi-aperture frame and can be combined with HDMI, VGA, audio and power modules in the same installation.

The USB 3.0 interface supports data transfer rates up to 5Gbps, making it suitable for external hard drives, high-speed USB hubs, printers and other peripherals where USB 2.0 speeds would be limiting. The white faceplate pairs with most wall plate and desk insert finishes, and the low 23g weight simplifies installation in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
