A soft layer for sofa and bed

Cushions are the quickest way to add warmth and a little pattern to a room. This range keeps things simple with soft cotton covers in plain colours and striped designs, ready to layer on a sofa, bed or reading chair wherever a space feels a touch bare. Cotton has a friendly, lived-in handle, so the covers soften a seat without feeling fussy.

Colours and patterns

Plain orange and green covers give you a block of colour to lift a neutral seat, while a striped ivory design brings a quieter, textured note. Mix plains with the stripe to build up a layered look, or keep to one for a calmer finish. The plain tones also work as a backdrop if the rest of the room is already doing the talking.

Shapes to suit the seat

Square 45x45cm pads are the everyday workhorse, sitting well in pairs at the corners of a sofa. A rectangular 30x50cm style finished with a fringed edge slots in as a lumbar cushion behind your back or as a contrast against the squares. The fringe adds a little movement along the edge and breaks up a run of plain faces.

Where they work

Cotton covers suit both living rooms and bedrooms, softening a hard-backed chair or finishing the head of a bed. Stacked or scattered, they add comfort underhand and a bit of personality to whatever they rest on, and they are easy to plump back into shape after a lazy afternoon.

Building a layered look

Start with a pair of squares, then add the fringed rectangle in front for depth and a change of shape. Working across two or three colours keeps the grouping looking gathered rather than matched, and a single odd colour stops the set feeling too neat. Free delivery worldwide on all orders over £99.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes do these cushions come in?
The range includes square 45x45cm cushions and a rectangular 30x50cm style, so you can mix a larger square pad behind a smaller lumbar shape on the same sofa or bed.

What are the cushion covers made from?
These are cotton covers with a textured weave. They come in plain colours such as orange and green, plus a striped ivory design with a fringed edge.

Which colours and patterns are available?
There are plain earthy and bold tones like green and orange, along with a striped ivory cotton style. The neutral ivory blends easily, while the bolder colours work as accents.

Are these cushions suited to a bedroom or a living room?
Both. The designs are tagged for living rooms and bedrooms, so they layer well on a sofa, an armchair or across the foot of a bed.

How much is UK delivery?
UK delivery is £14.99, and free on orders over £99. We also ship worldwide.
