Description

The Drift is a 22cm-wide crystal wall light built around polished chrome vertical blades that curve into an oval frame, with cut crystal prisms suspended from the lower edge. A single G9 bulb fitting sits behind the chrome blades, casting light through the gaps and down through the crystal prisms, which refract and scatter the light across the wall surface.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, beside mirrors, and as accent lighting in lounges or dining rooms, the Drift provides both ambient and decorative function. The 11cm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for narrow corridors and hallways where deeper projection would intrude. The polished chrome reflects surrounding light when the bulb is off, adding mirror-like accents to the wall during daylight hours.

Each crystal prism is faceted to catch and refract light, producing small rainbow refractions across adjacent wall surfaces when the bulb is lit. The combined weight of the chrome frame and crystal is 1.5kg, requiring secure fixing to plasterboard or masonry. The fitting takes a single G9 bulb up to 28W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose halogen or LED depending on the desired light temperature and output.
