Description

The Aurevon is a 480mm vertical wall light built around an elongated rectangular panel of natural Spanish alabaster, mounted to a brushed brass backplate with a slim brass arm intersecting the stone horizontally. An integrated 12W 3000K LED is concealed within the panel, casting warm soft-white light evenly through the alabaster face. Overall dimensions are 480mm high, 110mm wide and 120mm projection from the wall.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and living rooms, the Aurevon works either as a single accent or repeated in a sequence along a wall. The 120mm projection sits proud enough to read as architectural detail without obstructing circulation in narrower hallways. Hardwired installation onto a standard back box keeps the brushed brass mounting plate flush against the wall, with the cable concealed behind the plate.

Each alabaster panel is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, mineral patterning and translucency vary between individual pieces. When the LED is on, these markings become more visible across the face of the panel, giving the light a textured rather than flat appearance. The brushed finish on the brass arm and backplate softens reflections and pairs with both warm-toned classical interiors and cooler contemporary palettes.

The horizontal brass bar that crosses the centre of the panel is a structural detail rather than a separate fitting — it anchors the alabaster visually and breaks the vertical line at roughly the midpoint, giving the wall light its defining geometry. Combined with the solid copper internal frame and Spanish alabaster face, the Aurevon weighs and feels closer to a piece of stone joinery than a standard sconce.

Is the Aurevon dimmable?

The integrated LED is rated at 12W on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module being used, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm suitability.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Aurevon is not supplied with an IP rating, so it is intended for dry indoor locations only. It should not be installed in bathroom zones or anywhere it may come into contact with water or steam.

Does each piece of alabaster look the same?

No. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. The variation becomes more visible when the LED is illuminated and is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
