Description

The Marea is a 280mm wide wall light built around a curved brushed brass shell that wraps around a shaped panel of natural Spanish alabaster. An integrated 8W LED at 3000K sits behind the stone, pushing warm light through the alabaster face so the material itself acts as the diffuser. The fixture measures 240mm tall with a 101mm projection from the wall and runs on 230V mains.

The shape suits hallways, bedside walls, living room flanking positions and hospitality corridors where directed glare-free light is needed without the bulk of a shaded sconce. The brass shell wraps the rear and sides of the alabaster, so light is emitted forward through the stone face rather than spilling sideways. This makes the Marea well-suited to lower ceiling heights and narrower walls where a downward-facing or up-down sconce would feel oversized.

Marea is built from solid copper with a brushed brass finish and a hand-cut alabaster face. The brushed surface softens reflections and shows the brass tone without the high-shine quality of polished metal. Each alabaster panel carries its own veining and tonal variation, so no two units look identical when lit. The integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement during the rated life of the driver, and the 3000K colour temperature keeps the output in warm-white territory that complements the natural cream tones of the stone.

Where does it work best on a wall?
