Description
The Vetra is a dual-mount light fitting with two opal glass globes set either side of a central brushed gold sphere and backplate. The fitting can be installed horizontally as a wall light or vertically as a semi-flush ceiling light, taking 2 x E14 60W bulbs (sold separately). Overall span is 42cm with each globe measuring 20cm in diameter, on a 220-250V mains supply.
The dual orientation makes the Vetra useful in spaces where a single fitting needs to work in more than one role across a project. As a wall light it suits hallway console runs, bedside positions in place of table lamps, and either side of a bathroom mirror. Mounted to a ceiling it works as a semi-flush option for rooms with lower ceilings where a hanging pendant would sit too low, particularly landings, smaller bedrooms and dressing areas.
The opal glass globes diffuse the E14 bulbs into a soft, even light without hot spots, which is helpful in bathroom and bedside applications where directional glare is unwelcome. The brushed gold metalwork holds a warm tone that pairs with both cooler grey schemes and warmer cream and oak interiors. At 2.3kg the fitting is light enough for standard plasterboard fixings with appropriate anchors, though a solid backing or noggin gives the most secure mount.
The Vetra is supplied with a 2-year warranty. Bulbs are not included, allowing the colour temperature and brightness to be matched to the room: warm-white 2700K LED E14 bulbs around 6W are a typical pairing for bedrooms and bathrooms.

Frequently Asked
Can the Vetra be mounted as a wall light and a ceiling light?
Yes. The fitting is designed for dual orientation. Mounted horizontally on a wall it acts as a twin-globe sconce; mounted to a ceiling it works as a semi-flush fitting for rooms where a hanging pendant would sit too low.
Is it suitable for low ceilings?
The 42cm span is horizontal rather than vertical, so when fitted as a semi-flush ceiling light the projection from the ceiling is limited to roughly the depth of one 20cm globe. This makes it a workable option for landings, smaller bedrooms and lower-ceilinged hallways.
What bulbs does it take?
Two E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. A warm-white LED E14 around 6W and 2700K is a common pairing for bedrooms and bathrooms.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
The specification does not list an IP rating, so the Vetra should be treated as a general indoor fitting and kept outside bathroom zones unless an IP rating is confirmed. For zones 1 and 2 around a bath or shower, an IP-rated fitting is required.
