Description

The Liberty is a tiered crystal wall light built around three stacked rings of faceted glass prisms held by a polished gold metal frame. Two E14 candle lamps sit behind the central ring, casting light through the cut crystal columns above and below. The horizontal gold band wrapping the middle of the fitting carries the structure and gives the piece its defined waist. Overall dimensions are 45cm tall, 20cm wide and 14cm deep.

The vertical proportions suit hallways, stairwells, dressing rooms and bedside positions where a taller wall light fills empty wall space without projecting far into the room. At 14cm deep the fitting sits close enough to the wall for landings and corridors, and the 45cm height pairs naturally either side of a console table, headboard or fireplace. Mounting is wall-fixed via a back plate concealed behind the central gold band.

Each crystal column is cut with sharp vertical facets that throw fine bands of refracted light onto the surrounding wall once the lamps are switched on. The polished gold finish on the central band and inner support rings reflects warm tones back through the crystal, while the upper and lower tiers of clear prisms remain unbroken cylinders of glass for a more architectural silhouette than a traditional droplet chandelier wall light. Best paired with classical, art deco and traditional interiors.

What bulbs does the Liberty take?

The wall light takes two E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs rated up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white LED candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K is a common pairing for crystal fittings, as warmer light tones bring out the gold finish.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself does not include any electronics, so dimmability depends on the bulbs you use and the dimmer module installed on the circuit. Use dimmable LED candle bulbs paired with a compatible LED dimmer for variable output.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No IP rating is specified for this fitting, so it should be installed in dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or other damp environments.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Switch the circuit off at the consumer unit and let the bulbs cool fully. Wipe the crystal columns with a soft, dry microfibre cloth, or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for stubborn marks. Avoid spray cleaners on the gold metalwork as they can mark the polished finish over time.
