What door entry does

A visitor presses a button at the door station, the call reaches an indoor unit, and you can speak to the caller and release the door without going to it. Video kits in the range pair an outdoor station with an indoor monitor, with a seven inch colour monitor among the options, while audio kits use a simpler handset.

Access control and door release

Beyond calling, many kits add access control. Proximity keypad and RFID tag options let residents enter with a code or a tag, and these pair with the hardware that physically holds and releases the door, including magnetic locks, exit buttons and the power supplies that run a multi-way system.
