Description

The Aperta APKITKPGBLK is a single-way video door entry kit pairing a 7" hands-free TFT colour monitor with an IP55-rated outdoor camera panel that integrates a numeric keypad for code-based door release. The outdoor panel mounts at the entrance and connects to the indoor monitor via a simple 2-core cable run, with a single 24V power supply supporting both units and expandable to up to 5 devices total if additional monitors or outdoor stations are added later.

Designed for residential front doors, small office entrances and single-tenant access control, the system allows visitors to press the call button to trigger video and audio communication with the indoor monitor, or to unlock the door directly by entering a pre-programmed access code on the outdoor keypad. The 7" screen provides a clear colour image of the caller, and the monitor includes a record function to capture still images of visitors when needed. The hands-free operation means the user can speak and listen without holding a handset.

The outdoor camera panel carries an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for sheltered outdoor mounting positions such as porch entrances or recessed doorways where it is protected from direct rainfall but exposed to ambient moisture. The black finish on both the outdoor panel and indoor monitor matches contemporary door furniture and interior colour schemes. The 2-core cable installation simplifies fitting compared to multi-wire systems, and the flexible power architecture allows the system to be expanded with additional monitors or outdoor stations without replacing the power supply unit.

Can the outdoor panel be used in the rain?

The outdoor panel carries an IP55 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is suitable for sheltered outdoor positions such as recessed doorways or covered porches, but should not be installed where it is directly exposed to driving rain or standing water.

How does the keypad door release work?

The outdoor panel allows visitors to unlock the door by entering a pre-programmed numeric code on the keypad, without needing to communicate with the indoor monitor. The code and unlock function are configured during installation — see the manual linked in the Downloads tab for programming instructions.

Can I add more monitors or outdoor stations later?

Yes. The single 24V power supply supports up to 5 devices in total, so additional monitors or outdoor stations can be added to the system without replacing the power unit. Additional units are sold separately.
