Description

The ESP Aperta multiway proximity video door station combines a colour camera, proximity card reader, numeric keypad and two-way audio in a single surface-mount panel measuring 210mm x 90mm x 60mm. Designed for multi-unit residential and commercial buildings, the door station supports up to 250 apartments or units on a 24V DC power supply, allowing visitors to call specific units via the keypad or gain access via programmed proximity cards.

Installed at building entrance points, the Aperta multiway station sits flush against brick, render or metal frames and is rated IP55 for protection against rain and dust. The camera provides a wide-angle view of the entrance area, relaying colour video to compatible indoor monitors via a two-wire connection. The proximity reader accepts standard 125kHz EM cards and fobs, which can be programmed to unlock the door without requiring the visitor to use the keypad or call through to a resident.

The panel is constructed from brushed aluminium with a vandal-resistant polycarbonate keypad overlay. The built-in speaker and microphone handle two-way communication between visitor and resident, while the camera operates in daylight and low-light conditions. The unit requires 24V DC power and connects to a compatible Aperta control board or door release mechanism. Installation requires drilling and cable routing through the wall or door frame, with all necessary connection points accessed via the rear of the panel once the front plate is removed.

Frequently Asked

How many units can this door station support?

The Aperta multiway door station supports up to 250 individual units or apartments. Each unit is assigned a specific call number that visitors enter via the numeric keypad to initiate a call to the corresponding indoor monitor.

What type of proximity cards does it accept?

The door station uses a 125kHz EM proximity reader compatible with standard 125kHz EM cards and key fobs. Cards must be programmed into the system via the control board before they will unlock the door.

Is the camera suitable for night-time use?

The camera operates in daylight and low-light conditions. For complete darkness, supplementary lighting at the entrance is recommended to ensure clear video relay to the indoor monitors.

What weatherproofing does it carry?

The panel is rated IP55, protecting against low-pressure water jets from any direction and dust ingress. This makes it suitable for exposed outdoor entrances, covered porches and sheltered lobby areas.
