Description

The Aperta colour video door entry kit combines a 7-inch TFT hands-free monitor with a keypad-equipped outdoor station, allowing visual identification of visitors and code-based door release without needing to carry a separate key. The outdoor station carries an integrated camera with infrared LEDs for night vision, a built-in speaker and microphone for two-way audio, and a numeric keypad for entering access codes to trigger the door release.

Designed for single-dwelling residential installations, the kit runs on a single 24V power supply that supports both the monitor and outdoor station over a simple 2-core cable. The outdoor station is IP55-rated against dust and water jets, allowing surface-mounting on exposed exterior walls, gate posts or porch columns. The 7-inch monitor mounts inside the property on a wall bracket and provides hands-free answering — the call is accepted automatically when the visitor presses the bell button.

The system can be expanded to support up to five devices in total (additional monitors or outdoor stations) using the same power supply and 2-core wiring, allowing multi-room monitoring or coverage of front and rear entrances in larger properties. The outdoor station measures 260mm × 90mm and projects approximately 35mm from the mounting surface when installed. The black finish on both monitor and outdoor station suits contemporary, minimalist and industrial exteriors.

What cable is needed for installation?

The system uses simple 2-core cable between the outdoor station, monitor and power supply. Standard bell wire or alarm cable is suitable for most installations up to 50m cable run.

Can the outdoor station be mounted in an exposed location?

Yes. The outdoor station carries an IP55 rating, protecting against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. It can be surface-mounted on exterior walls, gate posts or porch columns without additional weather shielding.

How many access codes can be programmed?

The keypad supports multiple user codes. Refer to the product manual in the Downloads tab for the exact number of codes and the programming procedure.

Can additional monitors be added later?

Yes. The included 24V power supply supports up to five devices in total, allowing additional monitors or outdoor stations to be added to the system using the same 2-core wiring.
