Description

The Aperta single-way video door station combines a colour camera, integrated keypad and weatherproof IP55-rated metal housing in a surface-mount panel designed for single-dwelling door entry systems. The camera lens sits above a perforated speaker grille, with a numeric keypad and call button below, allowing visitors to call the interior monitor or unlock the door via a programmed code.

Designed for residential and small commercial installations where a single property requires access control and video verification at the entrance, the unit runs on a 24V power supply and connects to compatible interior monitors via a simple 2-core cable. The IP55 rating protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for outdoor mounting on gates, entrance porches and building facades exposed to rain and wind.

The metal housing measures 210mm high by 90mm wide with a 60mm projection from the wall once surface-mounted. The brushed stainless-steel finish resists corrosion and fingerprints, while the recessed camera lens and keypad buttons sit behind the front plate to minimise tampering. The high-resolution colour camera provides clear daytime visitor identification, with the perforated grille housing the two-way audio speaker beneath the lens.

How is the keypad programmed?

Access codes are programmed via the connected interior monitor or control unit, not directly on the door station. The keypad allows visitors to enter a pre-programmed code to trigger door release, but code setup requires access to the system settings indoors.

Can it be flush-mounted?

The unit is designed for surface mounting with a 60mm projection from the wall. Flush mounting would require a custom recess in the wall or gate post to accommodate the full depth of the housing and rear terminals.

What cable is needed for installation?

A standard 2-core bell wire or intercom cable is sufficient for connecting the door station to the interior monitor. Cable run length and gauge depend on the specific system configuration — consult the installation manual for maximum cable run specifications.
