Description
The Aperta EZT3KC is a complete single-door access control system combining an IP65-rated proximity keypad, a 250kg holding force magnetic lock, a contactless exit button, an emergency door release callpoint and a boxed power supply in one kit. The EZTAG3 keypad accepts both proximity tags and PIN codes, offering dual-method access for residents, staff or authorised visitors entering through internal doors in residential blocks, care homes, office buildings and storage facilities.
Designed for internal door installation where controlled access is required but weather protection is not (the keypad is IP65-rated for resilience, but the kit components are optimised for indoor mounting), the system suits doors between communal areas and secure zones, office entry points, storage room access and resident floor access in apartment buildings. The 250kg magnetic lock provides holding force sufficient for standard commercial and residential fire doors up to 900mm wide. The contactless exit button allows egress without touching the surface, and the green emergency callpoint provides manual override release in compliance with fire safety requirements.
The kit includes ten proximity tags in the box, allowing immediate programming of authorised users on installation. The EZTAG3 keypad stores up to 2,000 user codes and can be configured for timed access, lockout periods and audit trail logging depending on system requirements. The magnetic lock includes a lock status LED and contact output for integration with building management or alarm systems. All components mount to standard UK door frames and require mains power via the included boxed PSU.
