The Aperta EZT3K is a complete single-door access control kit containing six components in one box: an IP65-rated proximity keypad, ten proximity fob tags, a 250kg holding-force magnetic lock with lock status LED and contact, a boxed 12V power supply, a flush-mounted stainless steel exit button, and a green break-glass emergency door release callpoint. The keypad accepts both proximity fob and numeric PIN code entry, with dual verification modes configurable on installation.

Designed for internal commercial doors in offices, warehouses, storerooms and staff-only areas, the kit provides full access control and fire safety compliance out of the box. The 250kg magnetic lock suits standard aluminium-framed glazed doors, timber fire doors and composite entrance doors where a surface-mounted hold-open solution is acceptable. The flush exit button mounts on the secure side of the door at waist height, while the emergency callpoint sits adjacent to the door frame to allow manual release during fire alarm activation or power failure.

The IP65-rated keypad withstands exposure to rain, dust and condensation, making it suitable for semi-exposed locations such as covered porches, loading bay canopies and garage access points where the fitting is sheltered but not fully enclosed. The magnetic lock includes Z and L mounting brackets to accommodate different door frame configurations, and the lock status LED confirms when the magnet is energised. The included power supply is pre-wired and boxed, requiring only mains connection and a cable run to the lock and keypad.

All components are pre-matched and tested as a system, so no additional compatibility research or component sourcing is needed. The kit includes ten proximity fobs for immediate issue to staff or residents, with additional fobs available separately from ESP's Aperta range. The numeric keypad allows temporary PIN codes to be issued to contractors or visitors without needing to distribute physical fobs.

What holding force does the magnetic lock provide?
