Description
The Aperta EZT3KB is a complete single-door proximity access control kit built around an IP65-rated keypad and a 250kg holding-force magnetic lock. The kit includes an EZTAG3B proximity door entry keypad (black finish), ten proximity fobs, an A1ML250 internal magnetic lock with status LED and contact, a boxed power supply, a flush stainless steel exit button, and a green emergency callpoint for internal door release.
Designed for indoor installation on office entrances, residential communal doors, server rooms and secure storage areas, the system allows entry via proximity fob or PIN code and provides emergency override through both the flush exit button and the break-glass callpoint. The 250kg magnetic lock suits inward-opening doors up to approximately 900mm wide and holds the door secure until released by authorised fob, correct PIN entry, or manual override from the internal exit controls.
The IP65-rated keypad withstands outdoor installation where the door is sheltered (porch, covered entrance), though the lock and power supply are rated IP20 and must be mounted internally. The backlit numeric keypad includes dual LED indicators at the top of the unit to signal access granted or denied. Mounting brackets for both Z and L configurations are included with the magnetic lock, allowing fitment to door frames with different clearances and hinge positions.

Frequently Asked
What's included in the kit?
The kit contains an EZTAG3B IP65 proximity keypad, ten proximity fobs, a 250kg magnetic lock with Z and L brackets, a boxed power supply, a flush stainless steel exit button, and a green emergency callpoint. All components needed for a single-door installation are supplied.
What door weight does the 250kg lock support?
The 250kg holding force refers to the magnetic pull strength required to separate the lock when energised, not the door weight. This holding force suits standard internal doors up to approximately 900mm wide. The lock requires the door to close flush against the frame for full magnetic contact.
Can the keypad be used outdoors?
The keypad itself is IP65-rated and can be mounted externally where the door is sheltered (covered porch, canopy entrance). The magnetic lock and power supply are rated IP20 and must be installed indoors. Fully exposed outdoor installations are not recommended.
How does the emergency callpoint work?
The green callpoint is a break-glass manual override. When activated, it triggers the door release circuit, de-energising the magnetic lock and allowing the door to open without a fob or PIN. This provides emergency egress from inside the secured area.
