Description

The Aperta APMONBG is a 7" TFT colour video door monitor designed for ESP Aperta single-way and multi-way door entry systems. The monitor displays high-resolution colour video from compatible door stations and includes a 4GB SD card for optional still-image or video recording of callers. The unit operates on 24V DC and surface-mounts to internal walls within 150m of the door panel when connected via CAT5e or similar 24AWG cable using two cores.

Designed for residential and light commercial installations, the monitor suits front doors, gates and access-controlled entry points where visual verification of visitors is needed before unlocking. The black casing presents as a wall-mounted intercom panel with a 7" screen and control buttons below the display. The video recording function allows review of caller activity when the occupant is away or unable to answer immediately.

The monitor measures 215mm wide by 152mm tall with an 18mm depth when surface-mounted, weighing 450g. It draws 350mA at 24V DC and operates in temperatures from -20°C to +40°C, making it suitable for UK installations in hallways, porches and internal entrance areas. The high-resolution screen provides clear caller identification in daylight and low-light conditions when paired with a compatible Aperta door panel.

What door panels is this monitor compatible with?

The APMONBG works with ESP Aperta single-way and multi-way door entry systems. It is not compatible with other brands or generic video door entry panels. Check the Aperta system configuration before purchasing to confirm compatibility.

How is the video recording triggered?

Recording can be set to trigger automatically when a caller presses the door panel button, or manually via the monitor controls. Recorded images and video clips are stored on the included 4GB SD card and can be reviewed via playback on the monitor screen.

What cable is needed for installation?

The monitor connects to the door panel using CAT5e or similar 24AWG cable, with only two cores required for the video and control signals. Maximum cable run is 150m between the door panel and the monitor.

Does the monitor require mains power?

The monitor runs on 24V DC supplied by a separate power supply unit (not included). It draws 350mA during operation. The 24V supply is typically located near the monitor and powers both the monitor and the door panel.
